New Maps Puts Councilman Out Of Office

Gary Minor was elected to the Carrollton, Ohio, Village Council back in November. While the citizens of Carollton may want him on their council, Mr. Minor will not be serving. According to the Canton Repository, a check of the city's new "geographical imaging maps" show that Mr. Minor's home is actually thirty feet outside the village boundaries. Therefore he is ineligible to serve.

As if to add insult to injury, the records also show that since he built his home in 1997, Mr. Minor has been erroneously paying taxes to the city he doesn't really live in.
